Job summary

CarePartners in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care per physician orders and care plans. You will collaborate with the hospice team to meet patient outcomes and participate in end-of-life care as needed.

Responsibilities include following the plan of care, reporting needs to the interdisciplinary group, and managing pain and symptoms. A state RN license and BLS are required, with a driver license also needed.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the state and in good standing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Driver license required as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Follows the plan of care, provides treatments, and collaborates with the care team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Provides direct patient care as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act and related duties including end-of-life care.
• Participates in coordination of hospice services and communicates needs to the interdisciplinary team.
• Manages pain and symptom control for patients as part of the care plan.
