Job summary

TruHeart Home Health & Hospice in Norman, OK is seeking a compassionate PRN Registered Nurse to provide in-home nursing care according to a Plan of Care. You will assess patients, administer medications, and coordinate with families and physicians to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements include an Oklahoma RN license and CPR certification; experience in home health or hospital settings is preferred. Travel to patient homes in Norman, OKC, Edmond and nearby areas is expected.

Qualifications

• RN license in Oklahoma and CPR certification required.
• Experience in home health or hospital setting preferred.
• Competency assessments must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations and assess vital signs, mental status, and nutrition.
• Develop and implement a written Plan of Care with patients following physician orders.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IVs per policy and guidelines.
• Document patient status and nursing interventions and outcomes.
• Perform admissions, transfers, recertifications, and discharge visits.
