Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking a PRN registered nurse to join Fairland Center in Maryland. The RN will deliver high-quality care, perform comprehensive assessments, and collaborate with interprofessional teams to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS/CPR, and experience in long-term or geriatric care. Strong communication and adherence to health screening protocols are essential. Post-shift documentation is done in PCC.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Active RN license in state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred, strong clinical skills welcome.
• English proficiency for documentation and safety.
• Health screenings including TST verification as per state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care under supervision to achieve positive outcomes.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for care plans and safe discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate, real-time documentation using PCC EHR.
