Job summary

Cardinal Health Innovative Delivery Solutions is seeking a part-time PRN Pharmacy Technician for the My Community Health Center in Canton, OH. You will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, interact with patients, and help maintain an efficient, compliant retail pharmacy environment.

The role emphasizes patient access, accurate labeling, and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure safe medication delivery and adherence. Prior retail technician experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Registration in state where the position is located, if applicable.
• At least 2 years retail pharmacy technician experience, preferred.
• 340B experience preferred.
• May require vendor credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with pharmacy staff, physicians, nurses and other medical personnel.
• Understand that pharmacy requirements vary and may change with demand.
• Be available to customers/patients at all times.
• Maintain a friendly, helpful attitude with customers.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by following procedures and regulations.
• Organize medications for pharmacist to dispense by profiling prescriptions, preparing labels and calculating quantities.
• Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and ordering when needed.
• Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to follow 340B best practices.
