Join Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital as a Community Pharmacy Technician - PRN. This role supports outpatient pharmacy operations, assists with patient checkout, prescription processing, and maintains safe, high-quality filling workstations.

No bedside delivery or clinical duties. You will work a variety of shifts, engage with EPIC and dispensing automation software, and collaborate with an experienced team to provide efficient, patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with OBOP registration.
• Experience in outpatient/retail pharmacy settings preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC and dispensing automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with filling outpatient orders and documentation.
• Process prescriptions, manage inventory, and restock automated cabinets.
• Perform floor and stock checks; ensure safe, quality workstations.
• Handle returns/refunds and assist with patient checkout at service windows.
• Utilize EPIC and pharmacy software to answer order-related questions.
• Adhere to SOPs and complete required education and training.
