Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. seeks a Community Health Center Retail Pharmacy Technician to support a company-owned retail contract pharmacy. You will assist pharmacists, prepare and dispense medications, and maintain patient-facing service in community settings.

This PRN/On Call position requires flexibility to work late and align with the pharmacy schedule. A strong customer service focus and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Registration in the state where the position is located (if applicable).
• PTCB Certification or ability to get certified within 180 days of employment.
• At least 2 years of retail pharmacy technician experience.
• 340B experience preferred.
• Vendor credentialing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional working relationships with pharmacy personnel and clinicians.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and delivering prescription medications.
• Profile prescriptions, prepare labels, and calculate quantities.
• Ensure medication availability and order as needed.
• Support 340B practices and maintain safe pharmacy operations.
