Job summary

Cardinal Health Community Health Center is seeking a motivated retail pharmacy technician to join our on-site team. You will support pharmacists in preparing and delivering prescriptions, maintain professional relationships with pharmacy staff, physicians, and patients, and help ensure accurate medication profiling and labeling.

Hours include Monday to Wednesday 7:30 AM–7:00 PM, Thursday 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, and Friday to Saturday 7:30 AM–2:00 PM.

Qualifications

Retail pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
PTCB certification or ability to obtain within 180 days after hire.

Responsibilities

Maintain professional relationships with pharmacy staff, physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel.
Be flexible as department demands change.
Be available to customers/patients at all times.
Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude when dealing with customers.
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by following procedures and regulations.
Organize medications for pharmacist to dispense by profiling prescriptions; preparing labels and calculating quantities.
Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and ordering when needed.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Work with pharmacy team to ensure best practices for 340B.
