Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Registration in state where the position is located, if applicable.
• At least 2 years retail pharmacy technician experience, preferred.
• 340B experience preferred.
• May require vendor credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with pharmacy staff, physicians, nurses and other medical personnel.
• Understand that pharmacy requirements vary and may change with demand.
• Be available to customers/patients at all times.
• Maintain a friendly, helpful attitude with customers.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by following procedures and regulations.
• Organize medications for pharmacist to dispense by profiling prescriptions, preparing labels and calculating quantities.
• Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and ordering when needed.
• Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to follow 340B best practices.
