Job summary

Ochsner Health System in Monroe, LA is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist for a part-time PRN role. You will provide respiratory care, oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing and ventilation support for patients from neonatal to geriatric ages in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include monitoring and weaning oxygen therapy and ventilation, performing ABG analysis, assisting with airway management, and documenting all clinical information per policies.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; licensure to practice in state.
• National Board of Respiratory Care CRT credentialed.
• BLS, with NRP for NICU and ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Strong computer, data entry, and Windows skills; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care, oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support.
• Monitor and wean oxygen therapy and ventilation; manage ABG analysis and EKGs.
• Educate patients and colleagues; document clinical information per policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
