Ochsner Health System in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care, oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing and ventilation support for ages from neonatal to geriatric. You will perform arterial blood gas analysis, interpret results, and support patient care under physician orders.

The role requires an Associate's Degree (Bachelor's preferred), state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist, NBRC RRT, and BLS; ACLS within 90 days. EOE with accommodations available.

Competenze

• Required - Associate's Degree.
• Preferred - Bachelor's Degree.
• Licensure as Respiratory Therapist in state of practice, NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist, BLS, ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• No prior work experience required.

• Performs routine and advanced therapeutic procedures according to established policy and procedure.
• Reviews and documents all clinical information regarding each patient.
• Educates patients and co-workers on procedures and treatment plans.
