Chestnut Health Systems Inc is seeking a PRN Residential Technician in Bloomington, IL. You will support individuals in residential treatment, help maintain a safe environment, and assist with daily living activities in a trauma-informed, recovery-focused program.

The position offers shift differential for overnight hours, part-time hours, and eligibility for retirement savings plan with company match, along with an employee assistance program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Basic computer skills and ability to use an electronic medical record (EMR).
• Valid driver’s license and insurability required if transporting clients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support clients in residential treatment to ensure a safe and structured environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the unit, including following food safety standards.
• Assist clients with daily living activities and routines.
• Supervise and engage clients in recreational and leisure activities.
• Accurately document attendance, services provided, and progress notes in the EMR.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support client care and program operations.
• Promote trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care, emphasizing respect, empowerment, and wellness.

Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a PRN Residential Technician to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, as needed, for our Bloomington, IL location.

Pay Range: The anticipated starting pay for this position is $15.00 – $16.00 per hour, with additional shift differential for overnight hours. Compensation is based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
