Job summary

Western Home Communities is seeking a caring Resident Assistant/ Medication Manager to join our award-winning team at our assisted living facility in Iowa. This PRN/ full-time role offers a laid-back environment with high expectations and a family-like atmosphere.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily activities, personal care, and coordinating with nursing staff. As a Medication Manager, you will handle medication duties and ensure residents' rights are observed, while

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age to obtain a Medication Manager license.
• Current active CNA license in Iowa.
• Willing to obtain Medication Manager certification if not already held.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Strong commitment to serving others and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to residents under the supervision of the nurse and the support of your team.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene tasks.
• Assist with organizing, cleaning, laundry, meals and other assigned tasks.
• Promptly answer residents' calls for assistance and provide compassionate care.
• Chart resident interactions and communicate effectively with the team.
• With Medication Manager certification, perform medication duties including preparation and administration.
