Job summary

Transylvania Regional Hospital in Brevard, NC, is seeking Registered Nurses for PRN opportunities to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy hospital environment.

In this role you will collaborate with physicians and the care team, assess patient needs, administer treatments, document care, and teach patients and families about conditions and follow-up steps. Prior hospital experience and an active NC RN license are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply and must be confirmed.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• One year hospital nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborates with medical providers and the care team to implement care plans.
• Educates patients, families and caregivers about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
