Job summary
Transylvania Regional Hospital in Brevard, NC is seeking Registered Nurses for PRN opportunities to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across departments. The RN collaborates with physicians and care teams, following the Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage model to support outcomes and patient experience.
Qualified candidates will have an Associate's or BSN, current NC RN license (eNLC may apply), BLS certification, and at least one year of hospital nursing experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate's Degree or BSN as required.
- License: Current RN license to practice in North Carolina; eNLC may apply; licensure within 30 days of start date.
- Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
- Experience: One year hospital nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other care functions and document care in the medical record.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
- Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up measures.
- Advise on non-medicinal follow-up measures and prepare for self-management.
