Elevance Health in Kyle, Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse (PRN) to administer therapies, perform assessments, and document care. This on-site role supports face-to-face collaboration in a clinic setting with 1–2 shifts weekly.

Candidates must have ASN/ADN with at least two years of clinical experience and an active RN license; multi-state licensure is required for service across states. Some vaccines and TB testing may apply.

Qualificações

• Requires ASN or ADN and at least 2 years of clinical experience.
• Requires a current unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Multi-state licensure required if providing services in multiple states.
• TB test and Hepatitis B vaccine or waiver required for Paragon and Carelon Health units.

Responsabilidades

• Performs duties within the Nurse’s scope of practice, facility policies, INS Standards of practice, and approved facility protocols.
• Administers ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards and company policy and procedures.
• Completes admission process as directed by Center Director.
• Performs physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults as warranted by the patient diagnosis.
• Refer to the NP on duty for complete physical assessment as needed.
• Documents all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record.
• Reports all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and follows up on any identified problems.
• Evaluates the patient’s response to therapy and documents this finding in the medical record.
• Educates patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan.
• Ensures that all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate and up to date prior to treatment.
• Understands and adheres to all applicable state, local and Federal laws and / or regulations including maintaining patient confidentiality through HIPAA.
