Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires an ASN or ADN and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, or an equivalent background.
• Requires a current unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Multi-state licensure is required if providing services in multiple states.
• Tuberculosis test is required; Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver per policy.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties within the Nurse’s scope of practice and facility policies.
• Administers ordered therapies according to orders and protocols.
• Completes admission process as directed by Center Director.
• Performs physical assessment on each patient and for new consults as warranted.
• Documents data in the patient’s medical record and communicates updates.
• Evaluates patient response to therapy and notes findings.
• Educates patients and families regarding therapy plan.
• Ensures medication orders are complete and up to date; maintains HIPAA compliance.
