Job summary

Cascades at Saint Anne in Seattle, WA is seeking PRN RN professionals to provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The role involves administering medications, documenting treatments, and ensuring safety and infection-control practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, active RN license.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, and treatments
• Record time spent performing individual treatments, in accordance with ancillary services policy, on the medication/treatment record
• Ensure proper storage and security of prescription drugs and biologicals in accordance with facility policies and procedures
• Notify the physician of refusal of medication/treatments, non-compliance with a treatment plan, and resident response to medication regime with prompt notification to the physician of any adverse reactions
• Keep medication cart, refrigerator, and room neat, clean, and the medication stored properly
• Ensures the correct disposal of all sharps
• Key information into computer systems including EMR
• Practice, implement, and supervise Infection Control, Universal Precaution, and safety policies and procedures
• React appropriately to emergency and disaster situations
• Other duties as necessary and assigned
