Job summary

Avamere Rehab of Cascade Park in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and coordination with the care team.

The role requires an active RN license in Washington, CPR/BLS certification, and ideally experience in long-term care or geriatric rehab. The position offers full-time evening shifts with potential PRN Day and Eve coverage, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN license in the state.
• CPR/BLS certification must be active during employment.
• Experience in long-term care, geriatric rehab, sub-acute or critical care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor responses.
• Supervise and guide LPNs and CNAs; provide orientation and training.
• Document care activities accurately and communicate with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
