Job summary

Avamere Rehab of Cascade Park in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN shifts to provide comprehensive resident care, assess needs, administer medications, and coordinate with the care team. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, document in EMR, monitor vital signs, support wound care as needed, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Must hold an accredited RN degree and active license; BSN preferred and CPR/BLS current.

Qualifications

• Must have nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Current RN license in the state; BSN preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric rehab preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and monitor responses.
• Document health status and care interventions in EMR.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs; provide staff orientation.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to physicians.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
