Job summary

Village Caregiving is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to perform in-home visits and comprehensive assessments for home care clients in the Paducah, KY area. You will educate families on care strategies and collaborate with a care team to enhance patient quality of life.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, a valid driver’s license, and a flexible schedule to travel long distances to client homes.

• Visit patients in their homes for one-on-one visits.

• Educate patients and families on home care strategies; advise on devices or tools to improve quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, team members, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist with training new employees.
• Assist administrative staff with ensuring employee and client compliance.

We are looking for a compassionate RN to join our growing team! The right candidate has a can‑do attitude, a friendly demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to provide medical support and complete assessments on our clients in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients in their homes for one‑on‑one visits


• Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of home care clients


• Educate patients and their families on proper home care strategies and procedures, and make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the patient’s quality of life


• Provide effective communication to patients/clients, their family members, team members, and other health care professionals


• Assisting with training new employees


• Assisting Administrative staff with ensuring employee and client compliance

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s School of Nursing, or vocational nursing


• Current state license as an RN


• Proof of current CPR certification


• Compassionate, friendly demeanor


• Excellent communication skills


• Current driver’s license and reliable transportation


• Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel long distances
