Job summary

Wellstone seeks an RN to evaluate clients across River Valley and River Crossing locations, supporting treatment plans and documenting progress per regulations. This role requires active Alabama licensure, at least two years in mental health, and PRN shifts (minimum four per month).

You will administer injections, monitor meds, and coordinate with labs in a 16-bed facility. You will also assist with discharge planning, supervise a Behavioral Health Tech, and maintain accurate electronic medical

Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license.
• Minimum two years’ experience in the mental health field.
• SAMA certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

Job Description: The Registered Nurse will evaluate the clients of our River Valley, River Crossing, and other Wellstone locations as needed for emergent care needs and support our therapeutic team within client treatment plans. The RN will properly document the medical progress and notes of client progress while adhering with Center, state, and federal regulations. Those hired in this role will be required to work at least four (4) shifts per month to maintain Active employment status.
