Job summary

Wellstone is seeking a flexible LPN (Floater) to provide nursing care across multiple Wellstone locations. You will collect vital signs, administer medications, and support mental health assessments on various units.

The role requires Alabama licensure, 2+ years nursing experience, CPR/BLS, CPI/SAMA certifications (or ability to obtain), and proficiency with EHR.

Join a collaborative team and contribute to high-quality care with flexible 8- or 12-hour shifts across programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid, unencumbered AL Nursing License.
• At least two years’ Nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR, SAMA, and CPI certifications (or ability to obtain).
• Proficient computer experience to include Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Responsibilities

• Collect vital signs and track symptoms across units.
• Dispense medications, administer injections, and audit medication logs.
• Travel and adapt to behavioral health departments, residential units, or outpatient programs.
• Coordinate patient care updates with psychiatrists, RNs, and case managers.
• Provide oversight to behavioral health staff.
• Answer phones and maintain timely documentation.

Job Description: The LPN (Floater) provides flexible nursing care across the various WellStone locations, manages patient assessments, medication administration, and multidisciplinary team support.
