Job summary

Lifepoint Health’s Quick Care Clinic at Med Park in Lake Cumberland is seeking a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) for PRN coverage. You’ll support providers, perform clinical duties, and help maintain efficient clinic operations from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 1–2 days per week.

We value compassionate patient care, accuracy in documentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Current RMA credential and BLS are required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and treatments under supervision.
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection as directed.
• Monitor patients and communicate changes to the clinical team.
• Accurately document patient care provided.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with procedures.
• Maintain examination rooms and supplies, ensuring readiness for patient care.
• Conduct reception, scheduling, filing, data entry, and patient registration tasks.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to support a positive patient experience.
