Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a medical program that may include nursing assistant, medical assistant, or L.P.N. (certified in the respective program).
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under stress and to manage high patient volume.
• Fine motor skills required for injections, phlebotomy and performing other diagnostic tests.
• Motor skills to move quickly between rooms and assist patient mobility.

Aufgaben

• Obtain patient history and vital signs; document in EMR.
• Assist providers with procedures and tests; coordinate referrals and follow-up.
• Administer medications and monitor responses.
• Prepare exam rooms; maintain equipment and supplies.
• Schedule STAT diagnostics and follow-up appointments and ensure proper documentation.
