Job summary

Lifepoint Health, Inc. is seeking a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) for the Quick Care Clinic at Med Park in Lake Cumberland Physician Practices. This PRN role covers 1–2 days per week, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., supporting providers with patient care and clinic operations.

The position requires an RMA credential, BLS, and graduation from an accredited medical assisting program. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to ensure smooth patient flow and documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent.
• Current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient assessments and treatments under supervision.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection as directed.
• Monitors patients and communicates changes to clinical team.
• Accurately documents patient care provided.
• Prepares patients for examinations and assists providers with procedures.
• Maintains examination rooms and supplies for patient care.
• Supports efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Performs administrative duties including reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
