Job summary

EngageMED, Inc. is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to support patient care in our clinic. Under the supervision of the healthcare provider, you will record vitals, assist with exams, draw blood, and administer vaccines as ordered, while maintaining patient safety and privacy.

The ideal candidate has CMA/RMA certification, basic life support, and the ability to work well in a team. Proficiency with medical terminology and electronic medical records is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CMA/RMA/NRCMA certification required.
• BLS or ACLS certification required.
• 0–3+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vitals including blood pressure, pulse, temperature and respirations.
• May perform blood draws and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Administer medications and/or vaccines as ordered by provider.
• Ensure safety checklists and quality controls are completed.
• Maintain patient privacy and deliver compassionate care.
