Summit Express Clinics in Knoxville, TN is seeking a certified or registered medical assistant (CMA or RMA) to join our busy Express Clinics. This full-time role rotates between clinics and requires 36 hours per week, with patient-focused care and adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, assisting physicians, patient education, triage calls, and maintaining tidy exam rooms and records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CMA or RMA certification or LPN TN license required.
• TN X-ray license required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examinations.
• Record vital signs: pulse, blood pressure, height, weight.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, holter monitoring as needed.
• Assist physicians with procedures and provide patient education.
• Triage calls, pre-certifications, referrals, and prescriptions.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and manage patient records.
