Job summary

Elior North America is hiring a PRN Registered Dietitian for Cortland Manor, NY, with a focus on nutritional assessment and intervention for patients in a hospital setting. The role involves collaboration with the healthcare team to optimize dietary plans and support residents’ goals.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year experience as a Registered Dietitian.
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national exam by CDR or eligibility per AND.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to healthcare team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up nutrition procedures and policies.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement programs.
