Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare team at Meadowbrook, PA. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and supporting quality of life for patients/residents.

The position is on site with monthly hours and needs weekday availability plus occasional weekends. Experience in LTC, short-stay rehab, and acute hospital settings is preferred, along with PCC & MDS sheet familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilités

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to nutrition and dining services.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
