Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian for Meadowbrook, PA, to assess and address the nutritional needs of patients and residents. The role supports LTC, short-stay rehab, and acute care within Holy Redeemer Hospital and Lafayette campus, covering vacations and occasional weekends.

The position emphasizes quality of life, adherence to nutrition standards, and collaboration with foodservice teams. Weekday availability and hospital rotation experience are desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR.
• Licensed or certified as required by state.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures for dining services and nutrition.
• Actively participate in developing and reviewing quality improvement programs.
