Job summary

Elior North America is seeking an experienced PRN Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Meadowbrook, PA. As a Registered Dietitian, you will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions to maintain or improve nutritional status, and enhance quality of life in line with patient goals.

This PRN position averages 8 hours per month with weekday availability for vacations and appointments; weekends once per month to cover hospital rotations.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified per state requirements; CDR eligibility or exam; 75 hours CE every five years.
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field; Master’s in Nutrition or related field.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments and care planning; ability to teach nutrition concepts.
• Experience or comfort teaching others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
