Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian for Pittsburgh, PA, to assess nutritional needs, implement interventions, and improve residents’ quality of life in a healthcare setting. This role supports a multidisciplinary team in a hospital dining program.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in nutrition (or related field), a master’s degree, CDR eligibility or certification, and ongoing continuing education. 8–16 hours weekly schedule is typical.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Complies with continuing education hours every five years as per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents and staff.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to establish dining service and nutrition procedures.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
