Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare and food service team in Pittsburgh, PA. You will assess nutritional needs, implement interventions, and support quality of life for patients/residents.

The position is typically scheduled 8–16 hours per week with competitive compensation of $35.00–$40.00 per hour, depending on experience. This role requires licensure and dietetics credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination by the CDR or meets AND requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care (nice-to-have).

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies in dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
