Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare & food service team in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Registered Dietitian, you will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and enhance quality of life aligned with patient goals.

This position is typically scheduled 8–16 hours per week. Responsibilities include providing nutritional expertise to the health care team, educating patients and staff, and ensuring compliance with practice standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination by the CDR or meets AND eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess nutritional needs of patients/residents.
• Initiate interventions to achieve and maintain nutritional status.
• Enhance quality of life aligned with patient goals.
• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents.
• Follow standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures for dining and nutrition.
