Job summary
Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare team at Cortland Manor, NY. This onsite, part-time role focuses on assessing nutritional needs, planning interventions, and improving residents’ nutrition status in Hudson Valley Hospital Center-MAIN.
The PRN schedule typically ranges 8–16 hours per month with potential for additional shifts. Candidates should have RD credentials, state licensure, and strong knowledge of nutrition care standards.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of RD experience.
- Bachelor’s in nutrition (pre-2024) or related field.
- Master’s in Nutrition or related field.
- Passes the CDR exam or is eligible per A.Nutrition guidelines.
- Completes 75 hours CE every 5 years.
- Licensed or certified per state requirements.
- Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.
- Ability to teach nutrition/dietetics.
Responsibilities
- Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents.
- Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies about dining and nutrition.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement program development and review.
