Job summary

Rolling Hills Hospital is seeking a PRN Recruiter to support recruitment and onboarding within the Human Resources team. You will source, screen, interview, and coordinate candidate activity, with a focus on a positive candidate experience.

You will also handle background checks, I-9, and onboarding steps as needed. This role offers a flexible PRN schedule and the opportunity to engage with hiring managers, improve staffing processes, and contribute to high-quality behavioral health care

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Healthcare Admin, or related field preferred.
• Experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, or healthcare is preferred.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), preferably iCIMS, is preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The PRN Recruiter supports the Human Resources Department by assisting with recruitment, candidate sourcing, onboarding, and talent acquisition initiatives. This role is responsible for helping attract and engage qualified candidates while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Working closely with hiring managers and the Human Resources team, the PRN Recruiter helps maintain recruitment operations, supports staffing needs, and contributes to the organization’s mission of delivering exceptional patient care through exceptional people.

This is a PRN (as-needed) position with a flexible schedule based on business and recruitment needs.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Source, screen, and interview qualified candidates for open positions.
• Coordinate interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain candidate activity and requisitions within iCIMS and other recruitment systems.
• Ensure job postings are current across internal and external job boards.
• Assist with candidate selection and hiring recommendations.

Onboarding Support

• Coordinate pre-employment processes, including background checks, drug screens, I-9 verification, and reference checks.
• Communicate onboarding requirements and timelines to candidates.
• Assist in ensuring all required employment documentation is completed accurately and timely.
• Support New Employee Orientation activities as assigned.

Recruitment Outreach

• Participate in job fairs, hiring events, community outreach programs, and recruitment initiatives.
• Develop and maintain candidate pipelines to support ongoing hiring needs.
• Promote the organization as an employer of choice within the community.

Qualifications

Education

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and recruitment experience may be considered.

Experience

• Previous recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), preferably iCIMS, is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and community partners.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Working knowledge of employment practices and recruiting processes preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements

• Valid Tennessee Driver's License preferred.
• Ability to travel locally for recruitment events and job fairs as needed.
• Flexible schedule availability based on staffing and recruitment needs.
