Join Our Team: PRN Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Technologist) at CORE Occupational Medicine

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Technologist) in the Baton Rouge, LA area to join our team on a PRN basis. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging examinations, primarily taking radiographic images, at the request of medical providers.

Position Details:

• Work Schedule: Weekday day shifts, 7:30am to 4:30pm CST
• Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures, ensuring safety and care standards are met.
• Protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.
• Develop and process digital images, using PACS systems to transmit and retrieve results.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs with a low repeat rate.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with lab work and collaborate closely with healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with completion of an accredited radiology technologist certification program.
• Active and valid ARRT license in Louisiana.
• 1-3 years of relevant radiology experience preferred.
