This job is responsible for assessing patients and safely performing routine CT procedures in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures and protocols. This job serves as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students.

Required - Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
Preferred - CT experience
Required - Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or computed tomography ARRT (CT) certified OR ARRT registry eligible, registered by the ARRT within 90 days of employment, and a temporary state license is required. CT registry eligible within one year. Advanced certification in CT required within one year of becoming CT registry eligible. Current unrestricted license in the state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred – Advanced certification in CT acceptable to ARRT.

Medium Work - Exerting 20-50 pounds occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly. Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, grab, stand for prolonged periods, and travel between facilities. Exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially communicable diseases is possible. Occupational risks include exposure to hazardous materials and waste.
