Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Lorain Family Health & Surgery Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures, delivering high-quality images for interpretation.

This PRN role requires ARRT registration, active radiology license, BLS and knowledge of anatomy; you will educate patients, maintain documentation, and coordinate scheduling while ensuring safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
• Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients and process billing.
