Job summary

Jefferson Health Center City in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Radiology Technologist (PRN) to perform radiographic imaging and contribute to patient care across rotating shifts. The role supports clinicians by delivering high-quality images and patient education.

Responsibilities include equipment positioning, patient communication, and strict adherence to radiation safety, with ongoing maintenance of RIS/PACS records and ongoing education to maintain ARRT licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved ARRT program or current ARRT validation in Radiology Technology.

Responsibilities

• Position radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images with proper detail and contrast.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain relevant medical history.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff while ensuring patient safety and privacy.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and use shielding as required.
• Maintain and test x-ray equipment; document results and service needs.
• Update patient data in RIS/PACS for accurate billing and records.
• Complete continuing education for licensure as required.
