Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency with radiologic information systems (RIS) and PACS.
• Current BLS certification and license as required by state.
• Graduate of an approved program in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray scans and radiologic procedures for patients in accordance with protocols.
• Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures, obtain patient history, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain radiology equipment, and manage patient records securely per HIPAA.
• Follow radiation safety standards and assist with quality assurance activities.
