Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to perform x-ray imaging at Center City Philadelphia locations. The role includes preparing patients, positioning equipment, and delivering patient care before, during and after imaging procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining radiation safety, patient records, and complying with RIS/PACS workflows, with salary commensurate to part-time hours and experience. Travel between Jefferson locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved ARRT program or equivalent education.
• ARRT certification required; BLS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of RIS and PACS systems.

Responsibilities

• Position radiographic equipment to obtain images with adequate detail for diagnosis.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain relevant history.
• Maintain radiation safety and protect patients with shielding.
• Maintain and update patient records and ensure imaging accuracy for billing.
• Perform related duties as assigned by lead technologist or supervisor.
