Qualifications

• May be required to perform patient registration tasks such as verifying insurance and collecting payments.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiography (x-ray) exams on patients ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures; prepares patients, records vital signs, explains procedures, positions patients, and selects imaging techniques.
• Enters and monitors patient data; performs quality assurance on radiology equipment and may assist with accreditation processes.
• Takes emergency call within the department; may work weekends and float to other locations as needed.
• Promotes safe, caring, personalized and efficient experiences for patients and colleagues.
