Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a PRN Radiologic Technologist in Winston-Salem, NC for inpatient X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures. The role requires ARRT-recognized radiologic technology training, registry eligibility within one year, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized radiologic technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date; BLS required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of radiologic principles and patient care during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of the procedure and ensures proper positioning.
