Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Radiology: Inpatient Xray professional for PRN, part-time hours. You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams under radiologist supervision, document histories, verify patient identity, and assist with contrast administration.

Requirements include ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology education, registry eligibility within 1 year, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of growth and development appropriate to patient age group served.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Documents patient history for each procedure on physician requisition.
• Verifies patient identity verbally and with proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and operates equipment according to procedure needs.
