Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist for Lexington Medical Center - Radiology Clinic in Lexington, NC. The role entails performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, verifying patient identity, and coordinating with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging.

It requires ARRT-recognized training, registry eligibility within a year, and BLS certification. The position is PRN with on-site shifts, offering base compensation and opportunities for supplemental shift pay

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
