Job description

Position: Radiology Technologist
Department: Radiology
Hours: PRN
General Description:

Performs general radiographic and CT procedures at a technical level that does not require constant supervision. Executes a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, taking responsibility for designated areas or procedures. Manipulates, adjusts, and controls complex electronic and computerized imaging system components to produce patient examinations and research projects, while performing quality assurance procedures and evaluating system performance throughout the day. Operates independently with minimal physician supervision. Collaborates with all organizational levels, maintaining positive relationships, cooperation, communication, and coordination of activities.

Experience/Education Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited radiology program with current registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and a permit to practice through the State of Iowa. Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule and handle frequent interruptions. Capable of prioritizing tasks to meet daily deadlines and manage special projects. Must work independently with minimal supervision. Possesses effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a high sense of responsibility for confidential matters.

We operate two rural health clinics—Audubon Family Health Care Clinic and Exira Medical Clinic—providing comprehensive care from newborns to seniors, including well-child check-ups, preventative care, physicals, immunizations, and treatment of illnesses.
