Job summary

Required is completion of an approved radiologic technology program with ARRT eligibility or certification, an unrestricted state license, and BLS. Flexibility to work 24/7 and travel between facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification or registry eligibility required or registry eligible within 90 days of employment.
• Current unrestricted license in the state of practice and BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician orders and ensures procedure accuracy.
• Operates radiology equipment to perform imaging per protocol.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Reviews patient images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Provides mentorship to junior staff and students.
• Adapts care to patient populations and maintains privacy.
