The role requires completion of an approved radiologic technology program and ARRT certification or registry eligibility with an active license within 90 days. BLS certification is required, with flexibility to travel between facilities as needed.

• Verifies physician order and procedure accuracy.
• Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Operates radiography equipment to complete imaging per protocol.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Completes quality control procedures and follows regulatory standards.
• Assists in departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance).
• Adapts communication and approach to the patient population.
