Job summary

Edenbrook Yeadon is seeking a dedicated PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to develop and implement individualized therapy programs, promoting healthy lifestyles and rehab through evidence-based practices. The PTA will work under the supervision of a PT, maintaining documentation and coordinating care with the rehab team.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care in a skilled nursing/rehab setting, with scheduling that supports facility needs.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania PTA license in good standing.
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing, home health, or rehabilitation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rehabilitation standards in line with mission and goals.
• Provide quality therapy services including treatment interventions and discharge planning.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinate with rehab staff and facility operations.
• Document progress and communicate changes under supervision of PT.
• Monitor patient response and adjust treatment as needed under PT direction.
• Support discharge planning and billing summaries as required.
• Collaborate with care team and attend care plan meetings when requested.
• Supervise PTA students as appropriate.
